For  traditional print journalism – females accounted for more than a third of American society of news editors and newsroom employees overall.

New York City is the Media Capital of the world. The Media shapes us, informs our ideas, and reminds us who we are and what we can be. The Women’s Media Center is doing their part to make sure that an equal part of the media is properly represented by the hard working women of America.
