FENTY – RIHANNA – LVMH – THE LAUNCH OF A NEW BRAND

May 2019: FENTY is open for business!

 

LVMH has partnered with Robyn Rihanna Fenty to create a new luxury Maison based in Paris. The new Maison, named FENTY, is centered on Rihanna, developed by her, and takes shape with her vision in terms of ready to wear, shoes and accessories, including commerciality and communication of the brand.

FENTY operates outside of the traditional seasonal fashion schedule, retailing via multiple incremental Releases on a “See-Now-Wear-Now” model. Each of the releases, focused on a specific selection of product, expresses a new facet of a woman and her wardrobe.

 

The initial offering, Release 5-19, a luxury brand for the 21st century, FENTY operates from a digital flagship – www.FENTY.com – which is now live. Releases are supported by ephemeral boutiques – a unique experience for both a physical and digital audience. Releases include special-edition pieces, available for limited timeframes, and core items. Inspired by a worldwide community beyond traditional boundaries, FENTY embraces a fundamental freedom: a freedom from convention and the rules.

Rihanna Celebrates the One-Year Anniversary of Fenty Beauty

Friday night, September 14, 2018 – Brooklyn, NY – Rihanna was at Sephora inside JC Penney at the Kings Plaza Shopping Mall in Brooklyn to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the highly successful Fenty Beauty by Rihanna brand.

Rihanna created Fenty Beauty “so that women everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, developing formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades. Her vision, above all, is to inspire: “Makeup is there for you to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure. It should never feel like a uniform. Feel free to take chances, and take risks, and dare to do something new or different.” Rihanna says.

 

The special night included the launch of the highly anticipated Diamond Collection, which officially launches at Sephora, Harvey Nichols and fentybeauty.com this month.

PRINCESS CRUISES – THREE OCEAN LINERS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Monfalcone, Italy: February 2019: It’s a cruise industry first: Princess Cruises — the world’s largest international premium cruise line — is growing, and major milestones for three ships under construction at the same time were celebrated, at Fincantieri Shipyards in Italy.

The three milestones included the steel-cutting ceremony for the sixth and final Royal-Class ship, yet to be named, debuting 2022; the keel laying ceremony for Enchanted Princess launching June 2020 and the introduction of the Sky Princess crew member who was nominated by her peers to serve as Madrina and represent them celebrating the recent float out of the ship which will enter service in October 2019.

With two additional ships on order for delivery in 2023 and 2025, Princess Cruises becomes the fastest growing premium line driven by a strategic measured capacity growth over the next six years, adding to its current fleet of 17 ships.

The steel-cutting ceremony for the sixth and final Royal-class ship, was broadcast live to the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone from the builder’s yard in Naples, Italy. This ceremony marked the cutting of the first plates of steel to begin the building phase of the as yet unnamed ship.

TOMMY HILFIGER’S RUNWAY SHOW IN SHANGHAI

September 2018 – Shanghai, PRC – Bader Contents Studios Asia –

 

Tommy Hilfiger unveiled his fall ’18 collection in Shanghai with help from F-1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Winnie Harlow and Hailey Baldwin.  The runway was erected along the Bund, Shanghai’s historic waterfront, with the city’s colorful skyline as the backdrop, Hilfiger made quite the impression for his fifth see-now, buy-now show.

 

FIA Formula One racing champion Hamilton was on hand to debut the first Tommy x Lewis capsule collection, which has been the talk of fashion social media this summer as two announced their partnership earlier this spring and his collection, which fuses sport and street, now made its way on the runway.

And as far as the fall ’18 Hilfiger collection goes, the designer went back to the ’80s for inspiration featuring his oversized garments, sequined tracksuits, color blocking and a heeled hiking boot.

 

Others models walking the runway included Joan Smalls, Maggie Jiang and Lucky Blue Smith, while K-pop stars Chanyeol Park of EXO and Taeyeon of SNSD sat in the front row.

FRAGRANCE DYNASTY HOUSE OF CREED – LAUNCHES NEW VIKING LINE

October 2017: The oldest perfume brand in the world has a new scent!

 

Paris based fragrance dynasty House of Creed, which traces its aromatic roots back to 1760 and King George III, has launched a new luxury fragrance entitled “Viking.”

 

The powerful scent opens with notes of Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, and La Réunion baie rose (also known as pink peppercorn). The middle notes are filled with peppercorn, Bulgarian rose, and peppermint. The fragrance finishes with Indian sandalwood, Haitian vetiver, Indian patchouli, and lavandin absolute.

Creed is the only fragrance house to rely on a 4,000 year-old infusion technique to capture the highest concentration of natural essential oils. This labor-intensive process, passed from father to son spanning seven generations, preserves the originality of each scent’s ingredients without the use of preservatives.
