rag & bone COMEDY FILM CLOSE-UP WITH JOHN TURTURRO & BOBBY CANNAVALE

May 2017 New York City: Golden Globe nominated actor John Turturro and two-time Emmy winner Bobby Cannavale star in a humorous, conceptual short rag & bone Films feature entitled Hair, which recently debuted to rave reviews at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.

In the five minute film, Turturro and Cannavale deliver a lightheartedly engrossing and completely unscripted performance about a man’s particularity for his hair.

Hair was shot by Fred Elmes (Blue Velvet, The Night Of, Broken Flowers) in a Williamsburg, Brooklyn barbershop. Cannavale reveals that an old sports magazine interview with boxing promoter Don King, which was sent to him by Turturro, helped inspire the film.

Hair is a rag & bone films production, directed by John Turturro, from the 2016 Men’s Project based on a concept that showcases the actor’s authentic personalities with each outfitted in pieces from the latest collection that are reflective of their own personal taste.

Beginning on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, the film can be viewed at: www.rag-bone.com and on the rag & bone Films YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ragboneny

The actors, who are friends in real life and have worked together previously, wear rag & bone attire in Hair. With a downtown sensibility, signature clean silhouettes and an inherent integrity, rag & bone continuously redefines urban style. rag & bone operates 26 stores worldwide, ten of which are in New York City.

Joining John Turturro on the Hair red-carpet at Tribeca were acclaimed actress Salma Hayek, Rose Byrne, and Marcus Wainwright, rag & bone CEO, Founder and Creative Director, among others.
