ON THE RUNWAY WITH ALEXANDER WANG’S NEW H&M COLLECTION!

October 2014; New York NY: The wait is officially over! Alexander Wang’s highly anticipated and heavily previewed H&M collection hit the runway in The Big Apple!

Stars on the Red Carpet: Among the stars celebrating the Alexander Wang x H&M Men’s and Women’s Collection were Jessica Chastain, Solange Knowles, Kate Mara, Natasha Lyonne, Dakota Fanning, Mary J. Blige, Justin Theroux and Melissa George, among others.

Wang’s runway celebration was further enhanced by a musical performance by Grammy Award winning artist Missy Elliott.

Wang Joins Roster of Iconic H&M Designers: Wang, who is the first American and the youngest designer to team with H&M, announced the collaboration via Instagram at the Coachella Festival in California earlier this year. Renown for his love of street style and sportswear, Wang joins icons Versace, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Marni in H&M’s roster of famous fashion collaborators.

Wang’s first full performance collection exudes an urban, minimalist look as it reflects the 30-year old’s signature sports luxe vibe which arrives in a color palette of black, grey, and white. Recently superstar fashionista Rihanna was the first celebrity to be spotted wearing Wang’s H&M wear on the streets of New York City – adorned in a crop top and leggings. Wang’s collection will be available in 250 H&M stores beginning on November 6, 2014.

The collection comprises of 23 newly developed garments, plus accessories and a line of everyday objects, infusing novelty and humor.
